Solar Powered Submersible Water Pumps
PSk2 pumps perform equally well in irrigation projects and for wide area of drinking water applications where they reliably meet the most demanding
A solar water pumping system is a technology that converts sunlight into electricity to pump water. The PV panels are then connected to a motor (DC or AC) which converts the electrical energy supplied by the PV panels into mechanical energy, which is then converted to hydraulic energy by the pump.
We take three phase AC submersible pumps as example, for solar pumping system configuration. Solar pumping system consists of four parts: solar panels, solar pumping inverter, Single/three-phase AC pump and water storage device.
Solar energy-powered water pumps are water pumps running on the electricity that is generated by solar energy. For generating solar power, solar photovoltaic (PV) systems are used for complementary energy sources, they are deployed alongside diesel pumps in areas with plenty of sunshine and where the cost to run power lines is high.
Solar pumping system consists of four parts: solar panels, solar pumping inverter, Single/three-phase AC pump and water storage device. The solar pumping inverter converts DC power produced by solar panels to AC power which drives AC pump to pump water from borehole, river, lake etc. to the storage device.
